CSI has conducted many risk assessments utilising its facilitation skills in a number of client locations and on a range of subjects. For the University of Western Sydney we examined a potential exposure to asbestos dusts; at mining sites we covered head protection in maintenance of large vehicles, collapse of workplaces underground and chemicals management; for Qantas we actually trained the supervisors and managers on how to manage and undertake risk assessments (a sub-set of risk management) and for a small group of supervisors, how to facilitate risk assessments; for Geoscience Australia on the installation of Gas Chromatograph and its associated dangerous goods inside the laboratory; on some of the interactive exhibits used at Questacon and; on the movement of equipment and products at the Mint.
